RUTGERS MESORAH BOARD 2019-2020!
[2020-2021 Board Coming Soon!!!]

Check back again soon for more bios and pictures!

Co-Presidents: Pessi Blatt and Jonathan Linder

Picture
Pessi Blatt: Ben has been to Thailand, is Mizrachi and is Mesorah Co-President.

Jonathan Linder: If he is not at Walmart at 2AM, Mr. Linder can be found doing school work (lol), singing for #KolHalayla, announcing davening page numbers, or making eggs for Mesorah breakfast.

Education Co-Chairs: Tani Greengart and Sandra Kaplan

Picture
Tani Greengart: Tani doesn't like Thailand. He enjoys riding his bike, drinking orange juice, and his Calculus 4 class.

Sandra Kaplan: Sandra (probably) has ancestors in Thailand. She likes pizza, chai tea, and learning Torah with her Chavruta.

Social Co-Chairs: Max Lightman and Hannah Levine

Picture
Max Lightman: Netanel originates from Thailand. He spends his time watching anime, singing songs from Moana, and curling his hair.

Hannah Levine:
Hannah “Banana” Levine is the friendliest mensch available here at Hillel, with her daily commitment to Torah and television. She likes long walks, Oreos, and Costco, and is super excited to serve as co-social chair this year!

Shabbat Co-Chairs: Ben Mendelovits and Sam Jacobs

Picture
Ben Mendelovits: Ben is a Junior majoring in Exercise Science. He is super excited to be a Shabbat Co chair for this year!

Sam Jacobs:
Sam is a senior at Rutgers with majoring in psychology. She is also currently attending a 5-year education program through the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. Her hope is to one day teach elementary school or middle school math! She decided to join Mesorah board this year, because she's been wanting to get involved with the Hillel community for a while and figured it was finally time to do so. Her hobbies include brightening her friends’ days with her sass and dressing to impress. Oh yeah...and she's one of the Shabbat chairs for Mesorah! :)

Communication Chairs: Abbie Salamon and Robert Samuel

Picture
Abbie Salamon: Abbie is a sophomore in the Mason Gross School of the Arts studying photography and graphic design. I enjoy watching tasty videos and watching master chef in my free time. Obviously I really love food. Aside from food, I’m really excited to help promote Mesorah events with my skills in design to help build a more inclusive Jewish community on campus.

Robert Samuel: Robert was so busy editing and posting all of these bios that he didn't have time to write his own. The short version: He is a sophomore, Supply Chain Management major, and is looking forward to continuing to serve the Mesorah community!

Chessed Chair: Tova Braun

Picture
Tova Braun: Tova is a sophomore studying Engineering. She is looking forward to being the Chessed chair for this year!
